Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Streetfinch iPhone app, the Streetfinch service that runs its checks, and this website. Streetfinch is made by Serious Business (“we”, “us”).

The license to use the app

Streetfinch is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your license to use the app is Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “standard EULA”). The sections below add information that is specific to Streetfinch. If anything here conflicts with the standard EULA, the standard EULA applies.

What Streetfinch does

Streetfinch shows where a business ranks on Google Maps for a search phrase, as seen from a set of search locations around the business. It is a way to look at rankings. It does not change your Google listing.

No promise about rankings

A ranking is a point in time observation of public search results. Search results change often and differ by location, by time and from person to person, so what you see in Streetfinch can differ from what someone sees on their own phone. Results may be reused for up to 24 hours. We do not guarantee that the rankings shown are complete, accurate or current, that your ranking will improve, or that using Streetfinch will bring you more customers.

Suggestions in the app, including the optional action plan, are informational. The action plan is written by an AI model from the results of a check. Treat it as a starting point, not as professional advice or a promise of results.

Credits

  • Each search location in a check uses one credit. The app shows the cost before you run a check.
  • Credits are consumable. They have no cash value, you cannot transfer or sell them, and they do not expire.
  • Credit purchases are non-refundable, except where Apple or the law requires a refund. Apple handles billing and refund requests.

Pro subscription

  • Pro costs $29.99 per month or $249.99 per year. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Pro includes 500 credits each month. Unused credits carry over.
  • The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Apple manages and bills the subscription, and charges it to your Apple Account. You cancel in your App Store account settings.

Your businesses and your reports

You may use Streetfinch to check businesses that you own, work for or look after for someone else. You are responsible for the reports you share and for making sure you are allowed to share them.

Acceptable use

Please do not abuse the service. In particular, do not:

  • Try to get around the credit system or the limits of the service.
  • Use bots, scripts or other automation to run checks, or access the service other than through the app.
  • Resell the service, or resell credits or results as your own service.
  • Overload the service or use it to break the law.

We may limit or stop access to the service if it is used this way.

Streetfinch is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google or Apple. Google Maps is a trademark of Google LLC. Apple, iPhone and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
